Let’s bike from Naples along the Amalfi Coast! We’ll spend a week traveling from Naples to Positano, Amalfi, and back. We’ll have a SAG vehicle following us and riders can ride at their own pace. For the first few days in Naples and Pompeii we’ll be staying in ocean-front 5 star hotels! In Positano and the Amalfi Coast we’ll stay in a more budget-minded boarding house. The pace will the fairly slow, averaging just 10 miles per hour, and a total daily distance total of 15 to 20 miles. Of course the tour guide we’ll follow at the pace of the slowest participant. We’ll eat well (all meals included!) as we enjoy the scenery. While some of the coastal roads are several hundred feet above the feet (this is Amalfi after all) the only challenging part will be across the peninsula to Positano. And of course with our SAG vehicle always with us, we can catch a lift at any point. We’ll also visit Pompeii and Herculaneum. So come join the fun!
