San Francisco and Napa Valley
We’re going to Northern California and Napa Valley during “crush season”, when grapes are harvested! We’ll fly into San Francisco and stay in our own 5 bedroom penthouse condo with spectacular views of Fisherman’s Wharf and the Golden Gate Bridge! We’ll enjoy a guided tour of the city, visit Fisherman’s Wharf, Muir Woods, Sausalito, and the surrounding area.
We’ll then get in our rented mini van and take the day driving along the Pacific coast on Highway 1 before heading east to St. Helena, at the northern end of Napa Valley. We’ll check into the incredible Harvest Inn, where each room comes with a hot tub surrounded by vineyards in every direction. Here is where we’ll stay for 4 nights exploring every part of both Napa and Sonoma Valley. We’ll visit tons of great wineries, and we’ll feast on incredible culinary delights.
After exploring Napa and Sonoma County, we’ll return to San Francisco for our flight home.

San Francisco and Wine Country
Day 1, Friday August 4: Departure
We fly to San Francisco and take a private transfer to our condo in the heart of the city.
Day 2, Saturday, August 5: San Francisco
Today we’ll tour San Francisco, having lunch in Sausolito, visiting Muir Woods, Golden Gate Park, and Coit Tower before having dinner in Fisherman’s Wharf.
Day 3, Sunday, August 6: San Francisco to St. Helena
After breakfast we’ll jump in our van and head up the California coast on Hwy 1 where we’ll have majestic views of rugged coastlines and quiet beach-side communities. We’ll then turn east to reach our magnificent Harvest Inn in St. Helena at the northern end of Napa Valley.
Day 4, Monday, August 7: Napa Valley
Today we’ll drive down Napa Valley stopping frequently at speciffic wineries. We’ll pick the wineries based on he suggestions from our travelers.
Day 5, Tuesday, August 8: Sonoma Valley
After breakfast, we’ll head over to Sonoma for a similar drive down this quieter, and some say more magical, valley with multiple stops along the way for wine and food pairings.
Day 6, Wednesday August 9: Home
After breakfast we’ll ride our mini-bus back to the San Francisco airport for departure that same day.
