Join us on the perfect combination of cruising with lots of time for touring cities and towns along the Croatian coastline. Guided walking tours of medieval cities of Split, Korcula, and Dubrovnik, and hand-picked tranquil islands including visits to the Mljet National Park and Sipan Island, the largest of the Elaphiti Islands. As a former headquarters of the Yugoslavian military, the lesser known island of Vis, kept closed until 1989, offers breathtaking beaches along with its fascinating history. Close by there is the island of Biševo, known for the mesmerizing naturally occurring light show of the Blue Cave. Between the expert-led land tours and exciting adventures of snorkeling and paddle boating in the water, there isn’t a more diverse, yet relaxing way to explore Croatia.
Incredible 9-day cruise along the Dalmatian Coast visiting:
Split, Trogir, Bol, Hvar, Biševo, Vis, Korčula, Mljet, Šipan/Slano, Dubrovnik
With a crew to guest ratio of 1 to four, only 15 bedrooms with convertible twin-to-queen beds, and en-suite bathrooms, the Adriatic Queen offers guests a spacious cruising experience. At only 36 ft wide and 115 ft long, she can also reach the heart of Croatia’s cities as well as the island gems. Ample common space allows for relaxation and socializing with other guests. The air conditioned cabins range from 140 to 173 square feet, and are soundproofed to ensure quiet when desired. The onboard chef will prepare breakfasts and other meals while sailing, in addition to the special Captain’s Dinner. There is always a selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for purchase. The large sundeck with comfortable chaise loungers sits next to the more shaded area complete with a jacuzzi that seats 6. Time aboard the Adriatic Queen is all about unwinding from the daily adventures of the tours and other explorations during this remarkable trip.
We’ll be seeing ancient walled cities, tour castles, working monasteries, and enjoy a dedicated private English-speaking guide each day. In the evening we’ll visit small back alley restaurants, cafes, and bars serving delectable local dishes. Some of the features of this amazing trip:
DAY 1, FRIDAY: Take an overnight flight from the US to Split, Croatia!

This morning you will get the opportunity to stroll through the streets of Split with our private tour guide. Split is the second largest Croatian town and a UNESCO World Heritage site, best known for its glorious palace of Roman Emperor Diocletian. We will return to the boat around noon and enjoy lunch while we sail towards our first stop, the city of Trogir, another UNESCO World Heritage site. During our walking tour we will learn about the Greek, Roman, and Venetian influences on Trogir’s rich history. We will get to see the impressive architecture of Trogir’s most imposing monument, the Cathedral of St Lawrence, built in Romanesque-Gothic style. Because it was closed to visitors during the Yugoslavia era, it has remained unchanged for decades. Overnight in Vis.
DAY 6, WEDNESDAY: Vis – Korčula
After breakfast, we will head to the nearby island of Korčula, taking a break for a swim stop along the way. The city of Korčula is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in the Mediterranean, and it is thought to be the birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. After lunch on board, we head to the Island of Šipan with its peaceful fishermen’s village, Šipanska Luka. If there are issues with the weather or docking capacity limits, we will cruise to the protected bay of Slano, situated on the mainland. In the evening, we will head back to the ship for a very special Captain’s dinner. Overnight in Šipanska Luka or Slano.
